WHAT one thinks tends to be a result of HOW one thinks - AND in which LANGUAGE.
A language is our means of communication - including with ourselves, in our own mind.
The structure and grammar of languages greatly differ - and so does their vocabulary.
"You cannot think any deeper than your vocabulary will allow you to."
- Robert Niederholzer
What even CAN be represented and expressed and HOW differs from language to language - and also from person to person - in what they even have words for, as well as how they are used and meant to be interpreted/understood.
Words can and often do mean different things to different people. Word meanings and use also can vary even for the same person - at various different times. It is NOT "dictionaries" that "define" and give meaning to words, but those choosing/using them - to communicate.
While it is possible to think and communicate without words, almost all distinctions in what is intended, interpreted, and understood tend to be the result of words we know and choose to represent and express ideas and emotions.
The meaning we and others give to words used greatly affects thinking - even "possible".
Our thinking greatly affects our feelings - which greatly affect our actions - which greatly affect our results, their consequences, and both our and others' interpretation and subsequent reaction/response (in thinking, feeling, and actions).
Not everyone thinks the same - nor often even the same person at different times. Our perspective and understanding often changes.
The more words we know and the more ways we are able to "define", "understand", and use them, the more ways we are able to THINK.
One possible desirable "criterion" for how to (share whatever we) THINK is to strive to be:
Thankful
Helpful
Inspiring
Necessary
Kind
